everyone please donate generously

i felt i needed to blog now and make an annoucement for ppl to wake up and stop being heartless. just now i was watching <> on channel 8 and it was very heartwrenching to watch it. and the news just reported that there was another earthquake in sichuan again with 1 dead and 250 injured. wats wrong wif the world. seriously. the charity show included many pictures and video footage of the disaster and ppl there suffering. sitting in front of the tv just watching, i felt very helpless and all i could do was to cry. i feel i had to do something so i decided to start by making a plea to everyone to make donations. here are some touching and confirm-cry stories that i had heard bout the sichuan earthquake.

1. there was this father who was searching for his son. when he found the son, he realised that
son was right at the bottom of 30+ other children. by right, he could have just thrown the

other kids aside and rescue his son but because of his big heart, he carried and brought the

30+ other kids to safety first then finally rescued his own son. but to his horror his found that

his son had already died because he was the last to be rescued.
2. there was this woman who was trapped under some rubble and her right leg was stuck

underneath. to prevent dehydration she had to drink her own urine. she wanted to

continue living on because she promised her just deceased husband that she will stay strong

and continue raising her son. when she had no more urine to drink, she used a sharp stone and

kept on whacking her right leg to let it bleed so she can drink her own blood. by then, her right

leg was already spoilt and could not work. after a few days, she was finally spotted by the

rescuers and they tried to save her. because her right leg was stuck under the rubble, she

could not come out so she asked the rescuers to take a hammer for her and when it was in her

hands, she continuiously hammered her own leg till it was broken and detached from her

tigh. the vein connecting was still there so she asked the rescuers to get her a scissors and

using it she cut off her own vein. finally she was able to come out. all these she did was just to

continue raising her son.

3. lastly, there was this boy who stood at his house(which was in debri already). when the

rescuers asked him why he stood there silently, he answered saying that he believed his

mother was still alive and was under this hard leather sofa. he begged the rescuers to go in

and save the mum. the rescuers agreed and decided to end their search at the end of the day.

the next day they continued and found the mother's handbag. slowly the found th sofa and in

flash the boy was just trying his best to pull the sofa away. the rescuers helped him and when

they moved the sofa, they found out that the mum had already died. the boy was devastated

because he believed so much that his mum was still alive but now... the boy just stood there

silently staring at his mother's lifeless body.

by telling you all these, i am not trying to make u feel sad. i just wan to make an awarness of the people there suffering while are here safely. now here are some pictures for everyone to see the pain they felt.
